Central Star Home Health’s Employee of the Month attributes her award as a reflection of her contentment with her employer and the Home Health Care setting in general. Cindy W. has been a licensed practical nurse with the Ontario, Ohio branch of Star Multi Care for over three years. She is characterized as “dependable, caring and a great nurse”. Cindy was also selected because of her willingness and eagerness to learn and help others. She claims that she had chosen home health care over her previous career in the nursing home setting because “it provided flexibility and was less stressful than the facility”.

Due to this switch she was able to independently raise two beautiful daughters, Taylor and Tylar, who have both become successful in their chosen career paths just like their mother. Cindy states that not only has the home health setting allowed her to raise her children on her own but also has afforded her time to relax.

In addition to the enjoyment of more free time that she now has to spend with her daughters, Cindy also gets to share time with her two dogs, Bear and Kujo as well as her husband, Craig, who she lovingly refers to as “her Rock”. The family is eagerly awaiting the birth of Tylar’s baby girl who will certainly take up more of Cindy’s free time.
